Renormalization Group Evolution in the type II seesaw model

چکیده
We carefully analyze the renormalization group equations in the type I + II seesaw scenario in the extended SM and MSSM. Furthermore, we present analytic formulae of the mixing angles and phases and discuss the RG effect on the different mixing parameters in the type II seesaw scenario. The main features are the inverse proportionality to the mass squared difference for a hierarchical spectrum compared to the proportionality in the standard seesaw scenario and that the renormalization group equations are independent of the Majorana phases. Higgs Boson Mass Bounds in the Standard Model with Type III and Type I Seesaw
In type III seesaw utilized to explain the observed solar and atmospheric neutrino oscillations the Standard Model (SM) particle spectrum is extended by introducing three SU(2)L triplet fermion fields. This can have important implications for the SM Higgs boson mass (MH) bounds based on vacuum stability and perturbativity arguments. We compute the appropriate renormalization group equations for...

RGEs for coefficients of dim-5 operators giving rise to neutrino masses in the seesaw mechanism are written down in the SM, 2HDM and MSSM, and solved numerically. RG evolution of these coefficients modifies tree-level seesaw predictions for neutrino masses and mixing angles in SO(10)-type GUT models as strongly as quark Yukawa coupling evolution. متن کاملMSGUT : From Bloom to Doom
By a systematic survey of the parameter space we confirm our surmise[1] that the Minimal Supersymmetric GUT(MSGUT) based on the 210 ⊕ 126 ⊕ 126 ⊕ 10 Higgs system is incompatible with the generic Type I and Type II seesaw mechanisms. The incompatibility of the Type II seesaw mechanism with this MSGUT is due to its generic extreme sub-dominance with respect to the Type I contribution. The Type I ...
متن کاملLepton flavor violation in supersymmetric B − L extension of the standard model
Supersymmetric B−L extension of the Standard Model (SM) is one of the best candidate for physics beyond the SM that accounts for TeV scale seesaw mechanism and provides an attractive solution for the Higgs naturalness problem. We analyze the charged lepton flavor violation (LFV) in this class of models. We show that due to the smallness of Dirac neutrino Yukawa coupling, the decay rates of li →...
متن کاملTime-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method
In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...
